  • VITACROP PITBOLL is a corrector of deficiencies of Calcium and Boron with a nutritional balance that optimizes its absorption either via foliar or root.
  • VITACROP PITBOLL regulates water imbalances that cause physiopathies in crops (aseptic apical rot in Solanaceae, foliar necrosis, Bitter-Pit in apples, bone, and fruit cracking in fruit trees, etc.).

  • Calcium is one of the most important elements found in horticultural crops, as it is one of the main components of cell walls.
  • Calcium works to increase the fruit set and reduce the percentage of flowers and fruits falling.
  • It has an effective role in protecting the flower buds from falling by strengthening the fruit stalks.
  • There is a great relationship between boron and calcium in the plant, and therefore the lack of boron results in a deficiency in calcium that can be used by the plant, as boron activates the enzymes and vital processes in the plant, which provides calcium with a way to move with the enzyme streams.
  • Boron has a significant effect on the germination of pollen grains on the stigmas of flowers of fruit trees as it is involved in the formation of the middle lamina and the growth of the pollen tube.
  • The compound helps in the structure of plant tissue in the form of calcium pectates in plant cell walls. Therefore, it has an important role in the hardening of tissues, especially fruits, and thus protecting fruits from rot and increasing their tolerance for transportation, handling and storage.
  • Calcium plays a very important role in the permeability of plant cells.
  • Equivalent to some toxic effects of some organic acids such as oxalic acid, where when the acid is alone in high concentrations in plant tissues it has a toxic effect, and calcium works to protect plants from poisoning through its union with the acid and its precipitation in the form of calcium oxalate salts that are not harmful to plant tissues.
  • Calcium has a direct role in the process of photosynthesis, as it constitutes 60% of the composition of chloroplasts.
  • It has an important role in helping the plant absorb nitrate nitrogen.
  • Very important in cell elongation and divisions.

Dosage and Application Method:

VITACROP PITBOLL can be applied by any irrigation system or by foliar.

  • The product will be applied following the codes of good farming.
  • Do not mix with sulphates, phosphates, or mineral acids such as nitric and phosphoric.
  • Do not mix with mineral oils or copper.
CROP FERTIGATION FOLIAR APPLICATION
Horticultural 2 L/acre 3 cc/L – Apply form settled of fruits to harvesting every 3 weeks.
Beets, carrots, and tuber crops 2.5 L/acre 2.5 cc/L (of 2-3 repetitions) apply every 20 days
Apple 2 L/acre drip 3 cc/L (Make several applications) – Apply form settled of fruits to harvesting every 2 weeks.
Cherries, Peaches and Nectarines 2.5 – 3 cc/L Applied before and during training and hardening of bone. 3 Applications.
Olive trees 2 – 2.5 cc/L Apply form settled of fruits to harvesting every 3 weeks.
